Will the commercial version of the software really be $2k for the GUI and 8 compute/GPU nodes? And is it really free until Sep 2025? How can you afford this?

Concerning the free version, we think it's worth it to help users find out about our software and help ensure we've fixed all the bugs. Concerning the low cost of our commercial version, yes, it's really going to be $2000 USD for the full commercial version of a GUI + 8 compute nodes. We can make this work as a business - but please help us and tell your friends!

Can I write plugins for your software?

Here, by plugins we mean mostly Python scripts to be either run within the software or in external Python processes. But it could mean any kind of wrapper software or additional functionality. In any case, yes, so long as it does not involve reverse engineering our software or otherwise violating our user agreement (which anything reasonable most likely would not). In fact we encourage it! You can write plugins and distribute them free, perhaps on github, or even sell them - we will link to what we think are the most exciting and useful plugins.
